"BLAA 60 Years: Substantiation for a Nation" is a temporary exhibition at the Luis Ángel Arango Library. In times of global uncertainties and post-truth, where misinformation is used as a political strategy and fake news proliferates on social media, the new temporary exhibition at the Luis Ángel Arango Library aims to reclaim the value of evidence as an effective method to access and build knowledge free from prejudice, beliefs, and ideologies. The exhibit "BLAA 60 Years: Evidence for a Nation" showcases heritage and historical documents that are part of the BLAA collections and, as what they are—evidence—illustrate the complexity, breadth, and sometimes contradictory nature of forming a nation in this case, Colombia.
